It is compiled by a HIP’s provider and must be paid for by a home seller and shown to home buyer. Photovolaic PanelsAlso known as PV Panels, they are panels that are placed on the roof and used to convert sunlight into heat. SEDBUKThis stands of Seasonal Efficiency of Domestic Boilers in the UK. It is a number that gives the Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) a rating for the energy efficiency of any boiler. Solar PanelsThey are panels, placed on the roof to convert sunlight into electricity. RdSAPThis stands for Reduced Data Standard Assessment Procedure and is the formula DEA’s use to calculate energy efficiency. TRVThis stands for Thermostat Radiator Valve. These are put onto the taps of radiators so that the temperature can be controlled for a specific area of a property. U ValueThis is the value given to a property according to how energy efficient it is. The average U Value of a 4 bedroom house is 4. Vacant PropertyThis is when the house being sold has no-one living there at the time of sale. |
